I went to a new church today with my friends. Calvary Baptist Church. Met some new faces, got in a picture, and enjoyed the service. I don't really know why God took me there this morning, but it was by divine appointment, as are all things.
Later in the day, about one o'clock, a random man asked me if I wanted to be in his film about the Gospel of Mark. Willingly ready for anything at all times, I replied, "Yes." Little did I know, the next two hours I would be setting up the scene for the 'good' thief and his carrying of the cross (which happened to be two tree trunks nailed together, and it was very heavy. When this movie comes out, that guy's grunts and pain stricken face are REAL, not acted out!). I had the opportunity to play the part of a Roman soldier with the duty of forcing the thief up the hill with forceful coercion. It happened to be a very unique twist to the midsection of my day.
Later, I got to play a little soccer with my sister hall. Well, not really. Let's just say I got to run after the ball a lot! I didn't mind, it was good exercise and a good chance just to hang out with my sister hall. It was a great way to end the day!
Finally, I just finished reading the first half of a book titled Unveiling Islam and took a quiz on it. Yay quizzes...
